Thank you for considering a tax deductible donation to the Friends of Wehr!

Your donation helps us provide the natural beauty and education that is the Wehr experience. Contributions are used for the direct benefit of Wehr Nature Center and Nature in the Parks. There are many ways to direct your donation; click here to review Giving Opportunities, Kids in the Park Program, or Corporate Giving Opportunities, or simply indicate on the donation form where you'd like your donation to be applied.

FOW is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Donations are tax-exempt to the extent provided by law, and all donations will be acknowledged for tax purposes with a thank you letter sent to the address you provide during checkout.

Recognition

The Giving Tree, which graces the entrance to the Wehr Nature Center building, recognizes your donation as follows:
  • Friends Register: under $100 (newsletter listing)
  • Bronze Leaf: $100-$499 (name on leaf)
  • Silver Leaf: $500-$999 (name on leaf)
  • Gold Leaf: $1000-$15,000 (name on leaf)
  • Stone: Over $15,000 (name on stone)
  If you wish to give to the Boardwalk Project, your donation will be recognized as follows:  
  • General Repair: any amount (newsletter listing)
  • Plank Level: $100 (three linear feet with placard)
  • Section Level: $700 (sixteen linear feet with placard)
