  Make a date with a special child for this lovely lunch just for them.   It’s an opportunity for moms, dads, aunts, uncles, or grandparents to spend an afternoon of quality time with one of the children in their lives.

  Dress everyone up for the holidays and come to the Gardner Room at the Nature Center. It will be decorated for the holidays just so boys and girls can have their own special time with their favorite adult. You’ll have a holiday lunch on holiday dishes, hear stories, and make crafts the children can take home as a keepsake of your special day. They can even make a special holiday ornament to leave as a gift for the birds that come to Wehr in winter.

The event runs from noon – 2:00 p.m. Be sure to call to register before Monday, November 29. $12.00/adult, $14/child (12 and under), $10/Friend of Wehr. See you December 4 at the Nature Center.        

     Having a tea party, touching a real live turtle, and making a special holiday craft to take home are all just part of the fun at the Holiday Lunch.
