Join a naturalist for an evening out with the owls. Come discover the habits and adaptations of our nocturnal neighbors. We will walk the woodlands of Wehr to listen and look for the Eastern Screech Owl and the Great-Horned Owl. Hearing a Screech owl at night on the trail is a thrilling experience for families and for adults. Come dressed weather appropriate, as we will be outside for approximately an hour.
The Great Horned Owl has a wing span of almost 4 feet!
Screech Owls weigh about 8 ounces with a wing span of 18 inches.
