Advanced Master Naturalist: Mystery of Animal Flight

Jul 23, 2022 9:00AM—12:00PM

Topics ,

Modern insects, bats, and birds are inheritors of the legacy of flight that started 350 million years ago. For as long as humans have walked the earth we have asked “How do they do that?” Join us to explore that question and more as we discuss the question of how flight evolved on Earth. Take part in hands-on demonstrations of flight followed by an outdoor search for creatures that fly.

This workshop is open to the public and qualifies as continuing education hours for those holding the Wisconsin Master Naturalist certification.
