Christmas Bird Count

Community Science volunteers needed! We will be counting wintering birds at Wehr, as well as many other sites within the southern half of Milwaukee County. You’ll meet some talented and persistent birders as we observe birds in the most important and longest-running nationwide bird count. Beginners and experienced birders welcome. There are shared meal lunch options at noon at Wehr and on the eastern half of the count area by the lake.
