Christmas Bird Count

Participants will go to their count site directly and practice social distancing and use of masks

Citizen Science help needed! We will be counting wintering birds at Wehr Nature Center, as well as many other sites within the southern half of Milwaukee County. You’ll meet some talented and persistent birders as we observe birds in the most important and longest-running nationwide bird count. This count contributes to long-term population trends data.
