Pop-Up Nature: Fabulous Fossils

Celebrate National Fossil Day (October 15) early! We will read Dinosaur Lady: The Daring Discoveries of Mary Anning, the First Paleontologist by Linda Skeers and illustrated by Marta Álvarez Miguéns and learn about Mary Anning’s amazing discoveries. We will look at fossils that formed when Wisconsin was covered by a shallow sea, make a take-home fossil, and go on a self-guided scavenger hunt. Participants will also go home with a junior paleontologist booklet.
