Did you know that the oldest living thing on planet Earth is a tree?  They are the tallest living thing too! Trees also help to make oxygen, they produce fruits and nuts creatures like to eat, and provide us with shade during the hottest time of the year. Trees are truly amazing! Join a naturalist to hear the story “Treemendous: Diary of a Not Yet Mighty Oak” by Bridget Heos and illustrated by Mike Ciccotello (Illustrator) where we will learn how it is for one little acorn to grow up to be a tree.  We will provide families with a scavenger hunt to take on a self-guided hike.  Participants will also make a tree related craft.

Registration is required two days before the program.
