Pop-Up Nature: Sensational Spiders

Do you remember Charlotte the Spider from “Charlotte’s Web” by E.B. White?  Spiders are often portrayed as important figures in various stories and cultural myths. The Legend of Dream Catcher features a spider and its web. Tinsel, a popular holiday decoration, was created to represent a spider’s web. In one myth, Lord Spider was even said to have created the universe! Together, we discover why spiders are so sensational! We will read a story, share a craft, and explore other spidery activities.
