Soon many different types of birds will be making a long journey during their fall migration. Have you ever wondered why birds migrate? We will explore the mystery of a bird’s wandering wings. We will share the story “My Name isn’t Oof! Warren the Warbler Takes Flight” by Michael Galligan with illustrations by Jerimiah Trammell. We will also make a “birdy” craft, and scope out how to use binoculars to look at some of our bird friends. Participants will also receive a bingo sheet to help them find birds at Wehr Nature Center on a self-guided hike.
Registration is required two days before the program.
