Did you know that a group of hummingbirds is called a "charm" or that a hummingbird can flap its wings up to 200 flaps per second? Join us as we enter the fascinating world of hummingbirds. Families can enjoy a story about these flying jewels, make a hummingbird related craft, and go on a scavenger hunt searching for hummingbirds, their food, and places they might like to live.
Coordinator will send participants YouTube Video Links for this program, scavenger hunt, and craft idea via e-mail. Posting available to you June 22 at 1pm. Register ahead of time to get the link when it goes live.
Please consider a donation in any amount to the Friends of Wehr Nature Center to help during this difficult time. Your donation will be used for our non-profit organization's critical needs as we support the programs and facilities of Wehr Nature Center. Give |
