Friday, November 20, 7:30-8:30 pm Zoom presentation about Wild Turkeys
Saturday, November 21, 9:30-10:30 am at Wehr for a trail walk
There is a lot more to these magnificent birds than their place on our Thanksgiving table. Join naturalist Bev Bryant to explore the basics of turkey biology and behavior, learn how to interpret their many forms of communication, and discuss the impacts of these new neighbors on our urban wilderness. Plan on attending both the Friday Zoom presentation and the in-person trail walk on Saturday to search for wild turkeys at Wehr.
All participants are required to wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth throughout the in-person program.
Registration is required by two days prior to the program. Register for both sessions using the November 21st link here
