Women and Girls in Science

Let’s celebrate historic female figures as well as current women in science and their contributions! Celebrate National Women’s History Month by learning about the important contributions of both historical and contemporary women to science. This open house event will feature local women scientists who will share their passions, hands-on science activities for children, and presentations and displays about historic female scientists. Youth groups are welcome to attend. Bring your questions to ask our scientists; they love helping the next generation! Recommended for ages 10 years and up.
