Whitnall Park is famous for its herd of “friendly” White-tailed Deer. Join deer biologist and Wehr naturalist Bev Bryant to learn more about these magnificent creatures. We will explore the basics of deer biology and behavior, learn how to interpret their many forms of communication, and discuss the ramifications of CWD on our urban herd. After an indoor presentation we will head out to some popular deer haunts to observe deer.
