Members Make a Difference

The Friends of Wehr is dedicated to the support and promotion of the Wehr Nature Center and its environmental education programs. Over 2,000 members help us provide financial support of every aspect of the Wehr Nature Center. Our organization supports educational programming that reaches over 75,000 people from the Milwaukee Metro area region each year, including school children whose field trips are sponsored through our Kids in the Park fund.

Membership Level Descriptions:

Individual: one person

Family: one or two adults living at one address with or without minor children

Senior (age 65+) or Veteran: one or two adults living at one address; these levels can also include minor children or grandchildren, but not adult children or grandchildren

Supporting, Sustaining, Benefactor: (can be Individual, Family, Veteran, or Senior as described above)

Extra benefits:

Supporting membership: 2 parking passes and 2 guest day passes

Sustaining: 2 parking passes and 4 guest day passes

Benefactor: 2 parking passes and 6 guest day passes


  All membership levels include free parking for the member’s vehicle and anyone else they bring in their car

 

*All members will receive our quarterly newsletter via email. A paper copy is available for an additional fee of $15, please contact us to receive physical copy.
