Our staff and volunteers have been busy removing invasive species from various areas around Wehr. Now that the site between the amphitheater and the lake is prepared we are ready to restore it by planting native trees and shrubs, but we need your help.
Please support our land restoration efforts by sponsoring a tree and/or shrub that will provide habitat for birds, pollinators, and other wildlife. Your purchase, of the trees we've selected, will help our restoration project. Donors can choose which species they would like to sponsor and can even help plant their tree/shrub at our September planting event. Next Steps
1) Look over the trees and shrubs available for purchase and choose your favorite (Shop early as there are a limited number of each type!).
2) Purchase your favorite from the Online Store.
3) After you have completed your purchase, you will be contacted after the sale via email to confirm your participation at the dedicated planting day. At the planting day shovels will be provided, although we highly recommend to bring your own gloves.
