Join our naturalists to learn how to decipher the clues that animals leave behind. We will start by learning how to identify animal footprints, nibbles, and crumbs and then explore Wehr’s trails practicing our sleuthing skills.

A Monthly Series for Members of the Friends of Wehr

Make Wehr part of your family time. Friends of Wehr members at the family level or higher can join a naturalist for a free, monthly themed discovery walk along Wehr’s trails. Each program will feature a short, socially distanced introductory activity followed by a guided nature walk. 

Important Program Details:

• These programs are appropriate for children ages 5 years and older. Younger siblings are welcome if able to walk with the group or ride in a backpack (not all trails are stroller friendly).
• Inclement weather will cancel the program.
• Register early to guarantee a spot; same day registration permitted if space allows.
