Who lives in Wehr’s pond? Become a water explorer and discover the many living things that are part of an aquatic food chain. We will use handheld microscopes to peer at tiny water creatures and play wetland bingo as we walk along Mallard Lake.

A Monthly Series for Members of the Friends of Wehr

Make Wehr part of your family time. Friends of Wehr members at the family level or higher can join a naturalist for a free, monthly themed discovery walk along Wehr’s trails. Each program will feature a short, socially distanced introductory activity followed by a guided nature walk. 

Important Program Details:

• These programs are appropriate for children ages 5 years and older. Younger siblings are welcome if able to walk with the group or ride in a backpack (not all trails are stroller friendly).
• Inclement weather will cancel the program.
• Register early to guarantee a spot; same day registration permitted if space allows.
