Water is the most miraculous substance on earth and without it our world would be lifeless. Families will explore the amazing properties of water through hands-on activities, design and build their own river, and discover how to be good water stewards.

A Monthly Series for Members of the Friends of Wehr

Make Wehr part of your family time. Friends of Wehr members at the family level or higher can join a naturalist for a free, monthly themed discovery walk along Wehr’s trails. Each program will feature a short, socially distanced introductory activity followed by a guided nature walk.

Important Program Details:

• These programs are appropriate for children ages 5 years and older. Younger siblings are welcome if able to walk with the group or ride in a backpack (not all trails are stroller friendly).
• Inclement weather will cancel the program.
• Register early to guarantee a spot; same day registration permitted if space allows.
